Problems with Frank

Unfortunately Frank is still not rigged efficiently which will mean that the animation will be difficult and unsightly. As it stands now Frank's clothes are not attached to his skin. This means that when we try to pose frank or move the rig his clothes remain in the same position and tear off from the body which is unusable for the film. Chris and I are currently working on a solution that should solve this issue. We have been told by a few students that the wrap tool can hold the clothes to the body with good results.

Another problem is the fact that the character's blend shapes are still not attached to the model. So we cannot give facial expressions. However, Chris and have agreed that we can still achieve some good animation with Andy's rig. We aim to complete a few shots of Franks hand movements as he plays with a deck of cards and taps the table. These shots should be relatively simple and will not require the body or face to be in shot.

We managed to solve the tearing clothes issue. We managed to locate the wrap tool and the clothes seem to react nicely to small movements in the rig. Its just a case of getting thse blends sorted.
